Sorry, but reading CONFIG_SPARSEMEM_CLASSIC I would have no idea how it relates
to VMEMMAP.

CONFIG_SPARSEMEM && !CONFIG_SPARSEMEM_VMEMMAP

is pretty clear in comparison.
